Shaoguan is the Northern Gate of Guangdong Province, with the Pearl Delta Region to the South, Qingzhou city of Hunan Province to the north, and Ganzhou city of JiangXi province to the west. It is the commodities collecting and distributing center among the three adjacent provinces. It is also a precious land and an oasis where movement of industries from Pearl Delta area is accepted, and furthermore it is a Golden Passage through which the Pearl Delta Region develops the great interior markets.
